Indian tea commonly called as chai, is a beverage filled with rich flavour and aromatic spices. This beverage is consumed during the early mornings or in the afternoons. Using simple ingredients you can make this Indian tea. Here is a step by step guide to prepare this tea.

Materials

  • cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of black tea (loose)
  • 2 small pieces of ginger
  • 2 pieces of cardamom
  • ½ cup of hot milk

Instructions

  • Take a tea pan and fill it with one and a half cup of water. 
  • Next add 1 tablespoon of black tea.
    Allow it to boil in low flame. 
  • While the tea is boiling you can add chopped ginger and 2 pieces of cardamom. Crush them slightly before adding it to your tea.
  •  You can also add a pinch of cinnamon to your tea. However I add only ginger and cardamom.
    Wait until the tea has boiled well. 
  • Next, take a cup and add 1/2 table spoon of jaggery( brown sugar) or white sugar. You can add more or less based on your preferences.
  • Then strain the tea for quarter to half a cup. You can then add some hot milk to your tea and stir it well with a spoon.
  • Your Indian tea is now ready.
